Heiko Goelzer (Germany) is a physicist researcher focusing on ‘Earth and Sustainability’ at the University of Utrecht. He specializes in sea level change, climate dynamics and ice sheet – climate interaction. From 2008 until 2015, Goelzer worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Earth System Sciences group and the Department of Geography at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium. In addition, he worked on an EU funded program called ice2sea, which goal was to project the rising sea level as a result of ice sheet and glacier melt for the coming century.
