Laurent Binet

Laurent Binet (France, 1972) is a French novelist and writer of the internationally acclaimed novel HhhH (2010) for which he received the Prix Goncourd du Premier Roman. HhhH tells the story of the assassination of Nazi leader Reinhard Heydrich in Prague during World War II. At the same time the novel investigates and reflects on the process of writing and researching the story asking questions about the possibility of fictionalising historical events.
