Daniela Vaccaro (Sicily, 1972)

She has been teaching English and Spanish in Italian state and private schools since 2000. She has also worked as a lecturer of English language and translation at Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2018. As a teacher she has worked in different social contexts and she has realized that Palermo is such a complicated spiderweb of different cultures and realities. In recent years she also came into contact with the growing community of immigrants who live and work in their city, changing it.
