Lina Issa (Netherlands / Sicily / Lebanon 1981) a multidisciplinary artist. She studied graphic design at the American University of Beirut, after which she completed courses at the Jan van Eyck Academy and the Piet Zwart Institute. Through her work, she creates conditions for personal relationships within complex contexts and for insisting on the personal as political. In her work, Lina questions the ways we construct and (re)enact our subjectivities.
She was recently invited to make work in the context of COVID-19 by Studio Rizoma in Palermo, A Space to Hold .
