Alisa Prudnikova is commissioner and Artistic Director for the largest of regional art projects with international participation running on the territory of the Russian Federation: the Urial Industrial Biennial in Ekaterinburg. In only five years since inception, the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art has become a much-anticipated fixture in the art world, featuring the most exciting local as well as world-renowned artistic talent. And she is looking into East-West relations while working on a new platform: The Renaissance Project in Brussels. This will be launched in 2019-2020 and look at culture and its impact on the future of urban environment. She’ll talk about her work and dip into how Europe and Russia resonate within her work.
