Ann Demeester (Belgium, 1975) is a Belgian literary, art critic and museum director. She was the director of the De Appel art center in Amsterdam from 2006 to 2014 and currently is the director of the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem. Together with Kestutis Kuizinas, she was the curator of the X Baltic Triennial of International Art ‘Urban Stories’ in 2009 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In addition, Demeester has worked as a journalist for Belgian newspapers De Morgen and the Financieel-Economische Tijd.
