Ellen-Rose Kambel (The Netherlands) is a Dutch lawyer. After finishing her PhD she became an advocate for human rights, gender equality and international development. In 2011 she co-founded The Rutu Foundation, which supports quality education for children whose mother tongues are not part of the school curriculum. Kambel is a part of the documentary Three Women (2018), which follows three women who each advocate for a worthy acknowledgment of Dutch slavery.
