The Iron Curtain Project
On the 9th of November 1989 the Berlin Wall fell. Twenty-nine years have passed and a whole new generation has grown up without the memory of the Iron Curtain. These people have been told that after the fall of the Iron Curtain the world would become a more peaceful place, but this comment would turn out to be too optimistic. The Iron Curtain Project investigates the impact of the Iron Curtain on the daily life of the contemporary European.
The Iron Curtain Project will debut their newest project at the Forum on European Culture: What if…pop-up museum: The spirit of ’68 – today. A museum that explores what has become of the ideal of 1968.
The Iron Curtain Project contributes to What if … pop-up museum, June 1 – June 3 at De Balie.
