Ogutu Muraya (Kenya, 1986) is an Kenyan author, spoken word artist and theatre maker. He is an Associate Director of The Theatre Company of Kenya and has performed his spoken words at numerous international festivals. His theatre play “Fractured Memories” deals with how Europe should deal with the uncomfortable truths of its colonial past. Muraya currently is living and working as an artist in residence with De Ateliers, Veem House for Performance and De Balie.
