Rudi Fuchs

Rudi Fuchs (The Netherlands, 1942) is a Dutch art historian. He is the former director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. He is internationally known as the organizer of the seventh edition of Documenta, an exhibition on modern and contemporary art held every 5 years in Kassel, Germany. In addition, he writes a weekly column for the Dutch weekly newsmagazine De Groene Amsterdammer about different pieces of art since 2009.
