Vincent Stuer (1975, Belgium) was the speechwriter for José Manuel Barroso, former President of the European Commission and is the author of the book Kleinstaterij! that explores the essence of nationalism in Europe and its consequences. He has worked as the spokesman for Karel De Gucht as the party’s President and as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Stuer is a Solvay Fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
