Plan Your Visit

Re:Creating Europe takes place at many different locations throughout Amsterdam. Because of this, it’s a good idea to plan your visit ahead. On this page you will find all you need to know in order to enjoy Re:Creating Europe to the fullest.

How do I buy tickets?

On the page of every programme on the Re:Creating Europe website, you will find a button that says ‘Buy Tickets’. Here you can buy tickets directly online. All you have to do is register for an online account.

You can also buy tickets at the counters or webshops of the different Re:Creating Europe locations. The only exceptions are tickets for VondelCS and Rijksakademie: these must be bought through the Re:Creating Europe website. On the day of a programme tickets can be bought on these locations at the counter.

Also, you can only buy tickets for the programmes that actually take place at that specific location. For example: if you go to Bellevue, you cannot buy a ticket for a programme at DeLaMar. Make sure to check the opening times of these counters on our locations page.

If you buy a ticket at the webshop for Stedelijk Museum or Het Concertgebouw, make sure to pick up your paper ticket at the respective counter on time. All other tickets can be brought digitally.

Can I get a passe-partout?

Passe-partouts are not available for Re:Creating Europe. Tickets need to be bought for each programme separately.

Are there any discounts?

In some instances you can get a discount when buying a ticket. Discounts apply to:

  • Students
  • CJP members
  • Stadspas card holders
  • DBCP (De Balie Cultural Pass) members
  • Museum Card members (only at Stedelijk Museum)

These discounts are only available at the ticket shop on the Re:Creating Europe website. If you buy a ticket at one of the locations, discounts can be different.

How do I find the programmes I’m looking for?

There are two ways to find our programmes. We have a programmes page, where you can find a detailed overview of all the programmes Re:Creating Europe has to offer. We also have a comprehensible timetable, where you can get a quick overview of what programmes you can visit at what time.

How do I plan my route to the programmes?

When you are on a programme page, it shows you where it will take place. If you click on the location, you will be linked to our locations page, where you can find the address of every venue. Each venue has a ‘Plan Your Visit’ link. Here you will find the route by car or public transportation to this location. Most locations are within walking distance; others can be reached easily by tram or metro.

Is there anything you’re not certain about on the day itself? De Balie is the hub for Re:Creating Europe. Here you will find an information stand that can answer all of your questions. This will be open:

  • June 1: 15:00-23:00
  • June 2: 08:30-23:00
  • June 3: 09:00:20.30
